Les essais réalisés sur un extrait de Majorana syriaca, une plante aromatique, mélangé avec de la chair de thon réfrigérée, montrent la capacité de cet extrait à inhiber la flore naturelle d'altération et à réduire l'oxydation pendant la conservation à 0°C.
