La comparaison entre l'analyse ISO 22000 et l'HACCP est menée en utilisant l'analyse des dangers et les documents d'analyse ISO 22000. Les programmes pré requis (PRP) sont la principale différence entre les 2 systèmes. L'incorporation des PRP dans l'ISO 22000 rend le système plus flexible, étant donné qu'un plus petit nombre de points critiques de maîtrise (CCP) sont introduits.
